Katarina Witt was born on 3rd of December 1965 in Staaken, East Germany. As she seeks out fresh challenges, she is constantly opening the doors to new opportunities for herself and gathers experience in various fields in figure skating, producing, presenting, acting and writing. Katarina Witt will end her amateur career at the World Championships in 1988. In the next three years, she is co-headlining her first tours as professional in the US as well as Canada together with World Champion and Calgary Olympic Champion Brian Boitano. For the first time since ten years ago, Madison Square Garden shows a skating show featuring figure skaters, titled "Witt and Boitano skating". The event was so popular, it sold out the Madison Square Garden for a whole show. It is her return as an competitor to in the Olympic Games at Lillehammer, 1994, for the third time in her appearance. Through the US, Canada and Europe she was a star performer on the skating show "Stars on Ice" and "Champions on Ice". She participated in professional international competitions and toured for 10 year as the main figure skater. She develops headlines, designs and creates concepts for and also produces a variety of shows on ice that are international in her own company, WITHWITT. With WITT, the company set new standards for the production of skating-themed shows such as "Divas on Ice", "Katarina & Friends" and "Enjoy The Sky".
