Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was produced at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, a well-known actor and director. He was also a writer, teacher, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials when she was a kid. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season's third finale episode. The news was announced to viewers of the show in a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk, who has been involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode premiered on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season.
