Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded to accompany an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. The singer gained further attention from a post by Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft, and becoming intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to pursue music more as a hobby than as a job. In the end, she started writing the music she composed herself. She cites renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an appreciation for the style of Bjork. Her mother had told her that her songs can not only aid in her efforts to achieve fame but also make others see their value in the world and realize how they can benefit from the songs, she decided to begin playing in front of the public. She began playing the piano at the age of six, and began creating music when she was nine. The family did not know about this until she was fourteen. The dream was never to be Aurora. The singer claims she is a fan of composing music. For her, the music she writes is her way of feeling everything.
